Corporate Responsibility and Liability in relation to Climate Change

Session in the international conference ‘Corporate Responsibility and Liability in relation to Climate Change’ on May 19 – 20, 2022. PI Jaakko Salminen presented work done together with Agnes Hellner and LEXSECURE researchers Mikko Rajavuori and Mika Viljanen, on the topic ‘Private Law and the Rana Plaza Moment of Climate Change’ in the session ‘Accountability, science, and sustainability’, chaired by Natalie Dobson. The presentation was based on a working paper by the same authors, entitled ‘Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Global Value Chains: Governance, Regulation and Liability’, available on SSRN. The conference was hosted by the Utrecht Centre for Accountability and Liability Law.
