The Principal Investigator of the LEXECURE project, Jaakko Salminen, presented work at several conferences across Europe in summer 2022.
The Law and Infrastructure of Global Commerce conference, University of Amsterdam, 6–8 July 2022. Salminen presented on the topic ‘Humans as infrastructure: Personal relations and the global governance of production in times of crisis’ in the panel ‘Agency, alliances and resistance in global production infrastructure’.
The 34th Annual Meeting of the Society for Advancement of Socio-Economics (SASE), University of Amsterdam, 9–11 July 2022. Salminen presented on the topic ‘Global Value Chains As Regulatory Proxy: A New Paradigm for Transnationalizing the Internal Market’ with Klaas Eller and Mikko Rajavuori.
The 7th Global Meeting on Law and Society (Law & Society Association) in Lisbon on July 13 – 16, 2022. In addition to the presentation ‘Chaos, control or coordination: Shaping transnational supply in a world of crises’ with Isabell Storsjö in the session ‘The spatial politics of private international law’, Salminen acted as a commentator on a panel entitled ‘Between Socializing Markets and Decommodification’.
